ALL CARS MUST PASS ANW TECH INSPECTION PRIOR TO CLASS ENTRY IN ADDITION TO NHRA TECH - THIS INCLUDES VERIFICATION OF BODY TYPE, HOOD STYLE, THROTTLE CONTROL DEVICES ETC.
1. All cars must pass NHRA tech inspection.
2. We cater to the sixties vintage full body race cars. Some exceptions may be made byANW operations committee.
3. All cars must run same manufacturers engine. Engines do not have to be year specific.
4. All cars must be approved by ANW operation committee.
4.1. Mustang allowed with FE engine only.
5. All cars must have graphics that are nostalgia specific for sixties vintage race cars. The graphics must also include a car name unique to that car. Exceptions may be made for a new car but only for a short duration.
6. All cars must appear like sixties vintage race cars. No pro stock hood scoops or lead sleds or rear wings etc. No exceptions!!!
7. No tube chassis cars, back half OK.
8. No power adders.
9. Mechanical fuel injection OK.
10. Carburetor and ignition system are unlimited.
11. No driving aid electronics (crossover, delay boxes). Trans brake permitted.
12. No adjustable after market throttle stops, this includes barrel and blades type devices.
13.Certain channel frame cars will be allowed to run if approved by the competition committee. These cars must present the appearance of a sixties vintage race cars. If your car is approved to compete, that approval will be based on a year to year basis.
14. All cars must meet weight minimum of 2800 lbs vehicle only.
15.All cars must present a standard to above normal ride height - no lowered vehicles.
General competition rules:
All run field - in event field is limited due to time constraints ANW operations committee will determine qualifying order (ex. Q16 / reaction time / closest to dial)
four-tenths pro tree (.400) and quarter second dial-ins.
9.50 - 9.75 - 10.00 - 10.25 - 10.50 - 10.75 - 11.00 - 11.25 - 11.50
Courtesy staging recommended - each driver must light pre stage bulb first before either driver stages. Deep staging permitted.
Drivers meeting (required) prior to each race day approx 8:30am.
All competitors must belong to the ANW organization.

Any ANW member may make recommendations for rule changes. Constructive criticism is recommended. All final decisions will be controlled by operations officers.
